Online Product Sales & Purchase Policy

This Online Sales and Purchase Policy applies to all products purchased through the I Love Gadgets website, social media platforms, online marketplaces, or any digital sales channel operated by I Love Gadgets. By placing an online order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to the following terms.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986. Where goods are purchased for personal use, you are entitled to remedies under New Zealand consumer law if goods are faulty, not fit for purpose, or do not match their description. Where goods are purchased for business purposes, the Consumer Guarantees Act may not apply to the extent permitted by law.

All prices displayed online are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST unless otherwise stated. Prices, promotions, and product availability may change without notice. An order confirmation email does not constitute acceptance of the order; I Love Gadgets reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order due to pricing errors, stock unavailability, suspected fraud, or incorrect product information. If payment has been processed for a cancelled order, a full refund will be issued.

Full payment is required at the time of placing an online order. Ownership of goods transfers once full payment has been received and the product has been dispatched.

Customers are responsible for carefully reviewing product descriptions, compatibility information, and specifications before completing their purchase. If unsure about compatibility, customers are encouraged to contact us prior to ordering.

I Love Gadgets does not provide refunds for change of mind, incorrect selection, or if you decide the product is no longer required after dispatch. Please choose carefully.

All products sold online include a 14-day limited warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of delivery unless otherwise stated. This warranty covers manufacturing faults only and does not cover accidental damage, liquid damage, misuse, physical damage, incorrect installation, unauthorised repair, tampering, or normal wear and tear.

If a product is believed to be defective, the customer must contact us and lodge a claim before returning the item. The product must be returned in its original condition with the original packaging, box, accessories, manuals, and included components, together with proof of purchase. Returned items will be inspected by management to determine whether the issue is due to a manufacturing defect. If confirmed, a repair, replacement, or refund will be provided in accordance with the Consumer Guarantees Act. If no fault is found, the item may be returned to the customer.

Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the product is confirmed to be faulty or the return is required under the Consumer Guarantees Act. Customers are responsible for ensuring returned items are securely packaged. I Love Gadgets is not responsible for items lost or damaged during return transit.

Delivery timeframes provided online are estimates only and may vary due to courier delays or unforeseen circumstances. I Love Gadgets is not liable for delays caused by third-party courier services.

Refurbished or pre-owned devices may show minor cosmetic wear and will include a limited warranty as stated on the product listing or invoice. Battery health and battery lifespan are not guaranteed unless specifically stated in writing.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, I Love Gadgets’ liability is limited to the value of the product purchased. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or financial losses including loss of income, business, or opportunity arising from the use of our products. Nothing in this policy excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act.
